Southward to Como in Italy, home of the
beautiful lake, George Clooney and some of the finest silk mills in the world.
It was for the latter than our 'reclusive creative' spent an extremely busy
week developing new ideas for our Spring Summer 14 Collection which we shall be
selling to the stores this July and available in the shops early next year.
Yes- we work that far ahead! 'Creatives' first port of call was to his
favourite place in the world - a vast archive of literally thousands of books
devoted exclusively to textiles, some dating back to the 18th century.

Having spent a long day in this visual
paradise saturated with inspiration, these ideas are added to to a pool of
other design possibilities which have been developed over the past few months.
The rest if the week was spent working with fine high quality specialist silk
weavers developing patterns, motives, textures and, most importantly of all,
colourisation. Thus begins a three month process in which a collection is
developed. We shall keep you posted as progress is made. See you again soon
